Food & Mood Parent Club: Spread the Word
Are you a parent, or perhaps someone who wants to tap into their inner parent and re-parent your inner child? If so, I believe you’ll find this information valuable. As a passionate advocate for self-improvement and holistic well-being, I’ve dedicated much of my work to nurturing and re-parenting my inner child. This journey has led me to a powerful realization: the profound connection between the well-being of all of us parents and children when we show up intentionally and parent how we wanted to be parented.
Today, many people are grappling with financial challenges, and I’ve long held a vision of making my transformative work more accessible. The timing couldn’t be better. That’s why I’m here to introduce the Parent Club – it is a specifically focused group of parents for parents. I will continue to hold a container designed to help EVERYONE else including CEOs, business owners, 9-5ers, and some of my favorite clients: grandparents continue to navigate the complex landscape of food, emotions, and personal growth.
It’s common in the marketing industry to target a specific audience, but I firmly believe that the principles I advocate for are universally beneficial. Whether you’re a parent striving to be the best version of yourself for your children or someone looking to enhance their overall well-being, these tools can and will transform your life… when you learn and use them.
Becoming a parent marks a significant moment of change in our lives. The responsibility and motivation to create a healthier, more present version of ourselves for our children drive us forward. It’s a unique and powerful force that compels us to make habit shifts we have merely mentioned we would do “someday”. We are more willing to no longer postpone personal growth, making changes tomorrow, as we understand that our children are watching, learning, and depending on us.
I’ve personally experienced the transformative impact of embracing a new approach to food, love, and pressured rushing. I was once a very sick child, which motivated me to invest more in my own and my daughter’s health. This journey led me to figure out how to translate into baby and kid gut health what I applied to my own health; including processed foods, pacifying foods, kid-parent mindset and expectations, responding to emotions, emotional regulation via foods, and all of their interplay.
It’s not only about changing our children’s diets; it is about truly understanding what food is, as well as realizing it starts with us, with our mindset, and our modeled emotional relationship with food.
The Parent Club will address the whole spectrum of food-related issues, from re-educating our understanding of food to sharing nourishing recipes, to helping our kids self-regulate, and practical strategies for the classic stressors of parenting like time. My approach is to empower parents with real-time tools, not rigid rules. The goal is to facilitate gradual, impactful changes that “feel different” and inspire more long term “feel goods.”
One of the most challenging aspects of making these changes is dealing with the social dimension of food. We want to be part of the crowd, to fit in, and this often makes us hesitant to break away from conventional eating habits. The Parent Club will provide a social support system where we can share experiences and strengthen our food-tribe together. We’re tribal beings, and collective support can be a powerful catalyst for change.
Long term, I encourage you to create a local food tribe who share food values.
As part of this movement, I am collaborating with my daughter’s school to improve the snacks they offer, recognizing the crucial role of nutrition in a child’s behavior and learning. It’s heartwarming to see her so engaged and enthusiastic when her snacks are aligned with her well-being.
This journey is not just about individual well-being; it’s about our collective human potential. We pass down not only our genes but also our habits and environments, influencing the health of future generations. By making intentional shifts today, we can positively impact our own lives, the lives of our children, and even those of our grandchildren.
If you’re excited about this opportunity to embark on a transformative journey with other parents, please reach out. It’s a momentous step, and I understand the apprehension that often accompanies uncharted territory. But remember, personal growth begins at the edge of your comfort zone.
