Val Testimonial
Chandra is more than a coach; she’s a teacher, guide, and friend. She revolutionized the way I think, infusing curiosity into my thought processes, which has been a game changer for my personal and professional growth. I highly recommend Chandra to anyone seeking profound and lasting transformation.
Hello my food mood friends, welcome back! I have a special treat for you—an interview with the beautiful Val. Val has been coaching with me, focusing on creativity and time management. Today, I’m excited to share her journey and insights with you.
After our session ended, Val asked me if she covered everything I wanted her to discuss. She mentioned that although my main focus is usually on food, we didn’t touch on food at all because her diet was already super dialed in. Instead, we used the same tools I teach my food clients to manage the brain and time.
Without further ado, let’s dive into Val’s testimonial. Enjoy!
“My name is Valerie. I am a professional astrologer, a Ketamine assisted facilitator, and I am completing a training to become a childhood de-conditioning therapist. Chandra and I have done a trade—coaching for astrology—and it has been profound. Initially, I hesitated to start coaching because I had a disappointing experience with a coach in 2021, where I felt controlled and judged. Additionally, I was going through a profound personal transformation and felt unclear and overwhelmed. The idea of coaching seemed like another burden. Time and scheduling were also concerns, as I was reacquainting myself with freedom and flexibility. However, the trade Chandra offered felt aligned, allowing us to share our gifts.
Every session with Chandra felt like speaking to a friend, which was important to me. The safety and intimacy allowed me to go through what I needed, even if it meant just crying. Chandra created a customized space for my needs in the present moment, not just for my business. Learning to manage my time and energy efficiently was significant. Balancing studies, travel, building my business, and motherhood was challenging. I learned to stop invading my own boundaries, be clear about how I want to use my time, and be present in each activity. This has been life-changing for me.
One of the most valuable lessons I learned was to question my thinking and beliefs. Answering “I don’t know” was a defense mechanism, a way to detach and deny the present. With Chandra’s guidance, I faced obstacles and unblocked my creativity. Her gentle yet firm push was beneficial, even when it was frustrating. It was about finding the balance between pushing and being gentle.
Reviewing Chandra’s notes from our sessions has been invaluable. I’m a slow processor, and now that I’m out of a foggy phase, I can use the material we touched on. My time management and clarity have improved, and my vitality is amazing. Emotions are crucial. Allowing them to flow and not be trapped is key to clarity and efficiency. When emotions are loaded, thinking is impossible. Processing emotions leads to a clear path ahead.
I would absolutely recommend Chandra’s coaching. Her coaching helps people think differently about themselves and their lives. She holds people accountable, monitors their progress, and is a cheerleader. These shifts, though minor, lead to radical changes.”
