With each carrot crunched and contract signed,

I traverse discomfort, heart and mind.


“Hello, my Food and Mood friends,”

I say, In my voice, a gentle, guiding ray.

Through decisions deep, I lead the way,

Navigating life’s currents, come what may.


From the comfort of snacks to the weighty contract,

I embrace the discomfort, that’s a fact.

In every choice, a journey unfurls,

As I navigate life’s winding swirls.


Food and mood, in harmony they sway,

As I coach with love, day by day.

In this dance of self and soul,

I guide others to feel whole.


With tags like stars, I light the night,

Leading seekers toward their light.

In this journey, I stand tall and true,

Sharing wisdom, from me to you.

Welcome, dear readers, to a journey through the realms of food, mood, and the art of decision-making. Today we are headed into the importance of embracing instead of avoiding discomforts.

Every choice we make has a ripple effect on our well-being. From the simple act of snacking on a carrot to the weighty decision of signing a contract, each moment presents an opportunity for growth and transformation. (Yet it is important to remember that we do not “have” to… growth and transformation are a choice.)

As I share with you my personal maze of decision-making, I urge you to consider the embracing the discomfort that accompanies uncertainty. For it is in these moments of discomfort that we can choose to be courageous and step into a bigger life. By acknowledging the discomfort and moving through it with grace and breath, we can make empowered choices that align with our highest selves.

Food and mood are intricately intertwined, each influencing the other in profound ways. Through mindful eating and conscious decision-making, we can nourish not only our bodies but also our souls. By choosing foods that uplift and energize us, we can cultivate a positive mood and vibrant well-being. Energizing foods also feed our brains and allow for clear thinking contributing to physiological higher-level decision making.

But the journey doesn’t end there. In the realm of decision-making, discomfort is a constant companion. Whether it’s deciding what to buy at the grocery store or navigating the complexities of a business contract, discomfort is an inevitable part of the process.

Yet, it is through embracing discomfort that we find our greatest strength. By leaning into the discomfort and making empowered choices, we can create a life filled with purpose, passion, and joy.


Through the realms of food, mood, and decision-making, let us remember that discomfort is not to be avoided but embraced. When we avoid it our energy and our life shrink. Conversely, it is through discomfort that we find growth, wisdom, and ultimately, greatness. So let us walk this path together, with courage and conviction, expecting and accepting that the journey entails discomfort- and is worth it.
